On 13 and 14 May, CCIT took part in the first International peer review and matchmaking event organized by Alma Mons in Novi Sad, Serbia. Such an event was held in the framework of the project BIO-ECOnomy Research-Driven Innovation (BIOECO-R.D.I).
The event aimed to promote mutual learning and exchange of expertise in the field of bio-economy and to undertake a critical review of the regional strategies developed in each partner country and the international strategy with the aim of defining a strategic roadmap for bio-economy.
The two days included a series of workshops on the development of the bio-economy with topics:
- Development of the bio-economy in the Region – possible integration and capitalization of results and lessons learned from EU projects
- Role of the public sector in fostering bioeconomy
- State measures of support, green procurement, clusters, and bests practice examples
- Bioeconomy – raw materials, industry, the academy – current situation, methodology, and suggestions for mapping and activating potentials
presenting and discussing the potentials, the situation of industry, academy and giving suggestions fostering bioeconomy through mapping and activating the potentials.
